“From our initial meeting we were impressed by Jack’s attitude and approach to our house build and it quickly became clear that Underwood Built was the right choice for us.
Jack has a great eye for detail and a pro-active approach and throughout the project always displayed terrific communication skills.
Rather than simply managing issues as they occurred, e.g. conflicts in drawings he was able to identify them before the work was undertaken advising us in advance and coming to us with sensible solutions to remedy any issues. Pleasingly, he would not seek unnecessary variations and if any change to the scope was required, he would explain to us why it was required and the cost. He would always listen to our requests and ensure that they were incorporated into the build.
His proactive attitude also led to various cost savings to the project by modifying some of the original design concepts whilst maintaining and even improving the outcome for the house. More broadly, he has a very friendly and approachable demeanour and it is obvious that he truly cares about the quality of his work (and our experience during the build) which was obvious throughout the entire process.
